» Poem: Sunset
Sunset
written by nicole_lyndon

It was a beautiful sunset,
The sun was golden like the money used in a bet.
It seems as though the sunset is God's special gift.
For someone's day who needs a lift.
Like a painting the sunset looks,
Almost as though it were a picture in a child's story book.
As the sun goes down I see the sun lit pink, orange, and gold.
Next to the light blue sky the colors stand bold,
I look out at the whisps of clouds that are in pink,
All of the colors seem to link.
The beauty is immense,
It forces every problem to make sense.
Forever I just want to sit here and see its beauty,
But in a few moments it will disapear;
And so will we.
