It hurts when you love somebody

When he knows deep down but does not say,
When he loves you but forgets to declare,
Work puts him off and he passes on his ire,
Small things become gigantic,
misplacing his brush raises his fury,
things take precedence over you,
Thoughts are for you but outpourings fail,
Its only becoz you love that it hurts.....
The hurt is mollified when remorseful love
follows and then the sweetness engulfs you
becoz you know it must have been tough
to say those words of regret
and then I felt it was somehow good thatI
was hurt
for otherwise how would I realize what you mean to me
For deep down only when you love somebody it
hurts... |
