» Poem: Red Roses
Red Roses
written by DarkeningBeauty
03:14 PM 2/27/05
She sat upon the swing,

Looked up to the sky,

No rain began to fall,

But still the sun made her cry.

A single tear escaped her,

A single red rose,

The sadness of a million,

The wounds of many foes.

She wished upon her guardian angel,

To bring down from the sky,

A happy feeling or smile,

To banish all her lies.

For she was neither here nor there,

For she did not know,

That only her existence,

Was as a red, red rose.
