i want someone to hug

I look at the sky and I gaze up above
The lights I like, but they can not provide
The one thing I want, which is just a hug
When I see your eyes, my heart seems to die
They mesmerize me, and cause me to hide
They hypnotize me, and destroy my pride
They traumatize me, bemuse me inside
Beauty I know I will never deserve
I cant help but try, and gather my nerve
To ask for your love, and write this hard note
I feel no lust when I think of your smile
Instead I feel calm, with dryness of throat
You said you weren't ready, a long while ago
For some time I've waited, patient and slow
I ask once more, watching the lovely snow
For someone to hug, and new love to glow. |
