IN your eyes

Gentle summer rain
Tickling ice cold down my cheek
washing away the pain
Now everything that seemed perfect
is so new to me
and I miss something I’ve never had
I miss being free
I am nothing more than nothing
and I am trapped inside my head
but your voice comforts me
So, just repeat what you said
talk to me forever
forever and all day
Talk to me forever
even when you have nothing to say
And I’m lonely without you
but with you I’ll never be
Forsaken within
but you have saved me
I’m not perfect
and I’m living a lie
My sorry is sincere
and so is my cry
We’re different in many ways
but that’s ok
because I am not here to judge
No, not today
I wonder what I am to you
Through your eyes
am I just another person
with cliched cries
because I’ll be nothing today
I’ll be nothing tomorrow
I wont ever mean anything
So wont you rejoice in my sorrow
Stand here on the edge with me
just give me a little shove
Before I go, I just want you to know
I never meant to fall in love... |
