--Little Girl--

A long long time ago,
There was a little girl,
Her mommy said she was,
The cutest in the world,
Her mommy was her hero,
And also her best friend,
But one day mommy told her:
"I want my life to end"
She dressed only in black,
And the little girl tried to hide,
How she heard her mommy,
Crying every night,
Time was passing quickly,
And they grew far apart,
Mommy didnt care,
It broke the little girl's heart,
Slowly they became,
Strangers in that house,
And mommy made it clear,
She didnt want her daughter around,
But every night the little girl,
Would sit alone and pray,
Into the darkness she'd whisper:
"Mommy, please dont go away"
She didnt understand why,
It had to be like this,
She didnt want to cry,
Or see scars on mommy's wrists,
This little girl grew up fast,
Amongst the screaming fights,
Scared each day she'd wake,
To her mommy's suicide,
And she never told her mommy,
How it felt to live that way,
So now she is just like her,
Dying inside every day.
