» Poem: to be damned
to be damned
written by MissMatchClash
12:15 AM 2/28/05
my body's thirsts after something that i know not of...
and i don't know what it is i should do...
i want to give in to it's pleasures,
but then that would make me weak,
right?...

silent, awkward tears are seeping out of me...
what's the cause...
what!?!
i've been hurt, damn...
i've lost something dear to me, shit...
woops...

then why do i feel as though i am drowning...
in my sorrow, my pain, my emptiness...
all i wanted was that small touch of heaven...
you know...not even a handful...
but for my index finger to graze it and to feel it's glory...

but i can't.
i'm damned to this so-called earth.
i'm damned to be hurt,
to be rejected and used and forgotten...
is that really it?

is this what my world, my reality has become...
or come to?
