FAITH HAS A SECRET

Faith has a secret a secret she wont seem to tell behind the brown eyes and smile is her candy coated hell. Every time she smiles are a thousand tears that fall, Every step she takes is a mile she will have to crawl. Friends ask if she is okay? faith smiles brightly and pushes the pain away. If they only knew if she would only tell the tormented that she goes through every single day. A broken child left to bleed alone. Everyday she runs home feeling like shit, with nothing to look forward to going home to tonight. Beaten an raped by a man she can’t call father. How could mommy watch? Walking through the halls with her head down. Waiting in the guidance office waiting to go home. Faith sits and waits patently with nothing to say. Even though she wants to scream and cry for help. She holds back her agony. Faith has a secret she will never tell.
