» Poem: Accidents Happen
Accidents Happen
written by utsukushii_jouyouheki
05:27 AM 2/28/05
The innocence drips
from everywhere
Pouring out of veins
Spilt on to the floor.

Don't worry
The floor is linolium
As long as you wash it off
There will be no stains.

Oops sorry, didn't mean to cut you
As your red life smears
I stand and watch you in disbelief
At this view of carnage.

The knife held tightly within my grasp
As you take your final gasp
of air and breath slower and slower
"Was it really an accident?" you ask.

Then those beautiful eyes of yours
Faded out like an empty dance floor
and I thought to myself about what you had said
I know deep down inside, I wanted you dead.
