Walking through the corridor,
On another ice cold day,
Their insults echo in her ears,
As she tries to turn away,
Feeling so alone, she starts to run,
Not knowing,
Faces turn to look at her,
Not caring where she's going,
All the thoughts,
Running through her mind,
Years of torture she hoped
She had left behind,
She reaches reception,
Runs straight out of school,
The teachers all see her,
They think she's a fool,
Her heart is pounding,
She's running so fast,
She forgets there's a road...
And the car hits her - SMACK
Now she's as cold,
As the day she died,
So many people saw her,
Some of them even cried,
It shouldn't have gone this far,
Is this what it takes???
If someone had just stood in her way...
Now it's too late. |
