» Poem: Accept It
Accept It
written by brokenxsmile

I tried to show you what she was doing
Tried to tell you she still loved you
But you rose above it; you wouldn't believe it
You didn't want to accept the truth

No matter how many chances I gave her
Or how many you gave
She took advantage and
Pressed your buttons, all the same

Like a true friend
You were blind to the fact
That she could do something wrong
Just like that

She said all those things
To get under your skin
I think I was the only one
That saw who was within

You have to accept it
You know that it's true
You say it's not personal
So why don't I believe you?
