Let me out

Dark bars forcing me to stay inside here
Society trapping what I am
Mentality trapping what I want to be
I never asked to be different
Never asked you to be the same
Just wanted to be myself at all times
Inside my mind, the sun fades out
A room with bars and noway out
Never have i been so trapped
Completely wrapped inside something I cannot face
Sorry for all that I am, for what I will become
Please...just let me free |

| you are a very talented poet. I must admit I am jealous. I can however, really feel the emotion in this poem and I enjoyed it, even though it is a rather dark poem. Good job |
