» Poem: Burn
Burn
written by melpomene_blessed_89
05:46 PM 3/1/05
They're still asleep
But I'm awake
Their lives are there
For me to take

Sitting up late
Like a troubled teen
The halls are lined
With gasoline

I see them sleeping
Oh, so sweetly
I remove the smoke alarm batteries
Discreetly

This is a lesson
They'll finally learned
They played with my fire
Now they're gonna burn
