--I Did It Because--

When you asked me why,
Now you stand at my grave,
And silently cry,
I watch you from somewhere,
So far away,
I know we'll be together,
Again some day,
I couldn't face you,
Couldn't tell you the truth,
But now you cant hear me,
It's easy to do,
I did it because i was numb,
I did it because of what i'd become,
I did it because you cared too much,
I did it because that wasn't enough,
I did it because there was nothing else,
But most of all because i hated myself. |
