Another Statistic

Now this is a story,
a little different from the last.
Im the only one who remembers,
the rest forgot the past.
Her life was a tragedy at hand,
and her last good friend at just killed himself.
When she couldnt stand the pressure,
she turned to handsome death.
She bought some pills,
and wrote a few notes.
She went to her room,
and turned the music up loud.
She thinks her death is imminent,
but right now, its not too late.
She takes the pills,
one at a time.
And she feels her life,
slowly starting to fade.
Shes knows that soon,
it'll all be over.
But shes waiting in suspense,
as the horror builds within.
She starts to get dizzy,
and feels really sad.
Tears drop to the floor,
and so follows her body.
Its way passed her time,
and her body turns cold.
Maybe people will remember her,
when this happens to their own.
