Remember

I think of you
All the fun we had
Before you went.
I remember fun things
And dark things.
I remember hate and pain
I remember love and fun
But most of all I remember
You.
You smile and snear as one
Your ice green eyes
Dancing with joy.
You smiled at little things
And enjoyed small things
You helped me through dark times
And was there with me through happy times
You chased away my fears
And made me laugh When I never
Believed in happiness
We swam in the river and bathed in the sun
You showed me how to love
Now after all these years
I want you to show me how to forget
To forget ever thing we had. |
