"Smile For Me, Dear"

You'd say "Smile for me, Dear"
You'd tell me all the things
I needed to hear
Whenever I was angry
You'd tuck my hair behind my ear
And you'd calm me down
By simply saying, "Smile for me, Dear"
Whenever I was scared
You made me let go of my fears
By simply kissing my cheek
And saying, "Smile for me, Dear"
And I find my scars gone
Away with all my tears
As you look and me and
Say, "Smile for me, Dear" |
