Plastic Town
written by mattwhatever03:24 PM 3/2/05Plastic men and plastic women
Everything’s fake deadened
Designer labels, hair covered in peroxide
Cars and trucks pumping out carbon monoxide
Lines and lines of identical houses
High rise tower blocks
No one disagrees, no one rouses
Wearing fake polythene clothes and nylon socks
Sat there helpless watching television
No thinking, controlled by satellites
Plastic surgeons making pointless incisions
No will, to stand, no one will fight
Wearing identical suits, carrying brief cases
Walking in circles, like insects
You’re all the same no matter what your race is
When you realise you’ll have nothing but regrets |
