misery

therefore walking away seems best
if only you understood the pain i've caused
you too would walk away
see i only intend on protecting you
i don't wish to hurt you, so please just leave
call me what you will, damn me to hell
your words help me to press on
i intend on closing this door soon enough
understand that i care for you more
more than these confinements that keep you behind the glass
the confinements called "friends"
i wanted more than that, but the end result caused you to cry
hurt because of me, hard to say,
"i'm sorry for ever talking to you"
wish things could have been different
wish i could have that last moment back
wish that kiss that will never be
wish for more than i should
because when it comes down to you and me
drama loves misery |
