*Just leave me alone*

I am hidden
I don't want to show you.
Get away from me, hurry!
I don't want to get to know you.
I know you'll just bring me pain later in life.
Just one more thing that makes me turn to my knife.
After I'm done cutting don't worry, I'll turn back around.
Telling you about this new low that I've found.
Just walk away, leave, I'll be fine tomorrow.
The reason I hide behind my mask is because nobody knows my sorrow.
They see just a boy dressed in red, blue jeans.
They see just a boy, getting called to see the deans.
They don't know what I say behind those doors.
They can't hear my agonized roars.
They don't choose to.
I'm at home, I'm abused too.
They don't care that my whole life is a lie.
They see me, but just walk right by.
It doesn't matter, I'll just close my door, slit, and cry. |
