» Poem: Lets start a Movement
Lets start a Movement
written by Tessin
04:32 AM 3/3/05
Persuade the old to change the past,
Persuade the young to change tommorow.
repeal the laws to make it last,
Preserve your right to end your sorrow.
Come on people, move your feet,
Were on the edge of something sweet.
Start a movement, fly a flag,
Free the hippies, let them shag.
There will be marching, in the street,
to the beatnicks bongo beat.
The disco swingers will be there,
with love and music in the air.
And while chanting "peace not war"
We'll chill the fascists to the core.
It's not a generation thing,
And unless youre from the far right wing,
fight the power, march and sing,
Freedom is our only king.
