» Poem: Glances
Glances
written by Tessin
04:37 AM 3/3/05
What do you mean by these looks you give me?
They make me wonder how the past ever could be.
I take my chances, you shoot your glances,
I fight battles, you battle romances.
Brand new walls refuse to fall,
lost navigating your mind's halls.
Where once you held your dances,
are crashing swords sheilds and lances.
No longer do you smile back,
your eyes are ever on the attack.
Now that we have changed our stances,
I just want to catch your glances.
