Photographic Memories
written by Tessin
04:40 AM 3/3/05
Two hundred and sixteen five inch frames,
hundreds of faces missing their names,
chemically burned into immortality,
full-color reminders of hostile reality.
They can capture forever a pretty face,
take one moment and freeze it in place.
They can portray your eyes
and the way that they shine,
but not the spirit that lies behind.
You can tke snapshots of days,
make prints of the weeks.
There are numerous ways,
from the filmcase they leak.
But no matter how long
a photograph stays,
Theres no substitute,
for your accual face.
