» Poem: Blue and Purple Tie-dye Jackets
Blue and Purple Tie-dye Jackets
written by Tessin
04:51 AM 3/3/05
There are sleepy heads in chocolate beds
with apple hamsters painted red.
Precisely flowing as they stroll,
through patchwork rooftops in a hole.
and as the cannons shot them down,
the peppermint children ,we thought, might drown.
But the drops keep leaping down,
and make the starfish penguins frown.

Those slingshot bands make such a racket,
in their blue and purple tie-dye jackets.
on telephone lines, the red watch times,
ordering drinks of lemon lime.
While the rockets are blasting holes,
and hold pockets filled with coals,
Sometimes i wonder if they can hack it,
in their blue and purple tie-dyed jackets.
