Sometimes Heroes Need a Hero

To come and save the day
There are times when I seem helpless
There’s no help that comes my way
When I’m trapped in a dark corner
Away from living here
I wish someone would come around
And save me from my fears
Other times it’s up to me
To go and save the day
To help others who are in need
And help them on their way
Sometimes it gets so lonely
Saving people from their fears
Cuz then no one is there
To save me from these tears
The world rests upon me
Each and everyday
I wish someone would save me
Before I melt away
Sometimes I get so restless
Day to day, year by year
I hope that someone soon will come
And save me from my fears |
