My Shattered Heart

And careless fears
Have only brought back
My sadness and tears
I'll come off as happy
But I'm really hiding it from you
Because that's exactly
What I always do
I'm picking up the peices
Of my broken heart
For your foolish words
Have torn it apart
Yet again I feel lonely
And I know exactly why
But I remain in denial
I can't say I didn't try
Again I find myself speechless
As my shattered heart falls to the floor
And you just look at me and frown
As you selfishly walk out the door |
