» Poem: Broken Smile
Broken Smile
written by piperneedshelp
03:02 AM 3/4/05
i look in the mirror and all i see
is some broken soul staring back at me
she's just looking at me, tears running down her cheek
she looks so fragile, so small, so weak
my reflection drops the razor to the floor
it looks back, checking the locked door
no one is home
no one cares
that she kisses her wrists
with the sharp blade
maybe she's emotional, maybe shes sad
but inside shes screaming, stark-raving mad
no one will listen to her
no one will care
just give her a chance
and maybe she'll last
push her aside, strike her to the ground
she will go deeper inside her shell
never to come out again, always hiding
and the steely outside wont let in, that inside shes crying, even dieing
