» Poem: Beautiful girl
Beautiful girl
written by piperneedshelp
03:17 AM 3/4/05
i see her walking down the halls at school
with her head up and smiling bright
i lean back against the wall
hoping that someday maybe it wont hurt so much
to see someone prettier than me walk by
and to see them catch his eye
he always sees them, but never me
its so hard for me to see him so happy
and for me to feel so sad
it doesnt matter what i do
he never sees me, only you
someday though, it will be different
someday, when i'm perfect, i'll be the one who he stairs at
the one who he looks after as they pass through the hall
but maybe its not going to be me, after all
because no matter what i do, i'll never be the one
i'm too ugly, and unpretty
