--The End Of Everything--

I know i'm about to die,
But i swear i feel no pain,
As i slowly close my eyes.
At first there is but darkness,
I feel my life escaping from me,
The life which i once hated,
Now just a distant memory.
A golden glow surrounds me,
And i suddenly feel so light,
Overwhelmed by joy and happiness,
I know everything is right.
All around me are smiling faces,
Of those i have missed for so long,
They welcome me into their world,
A world where i truely belong.
I look upon my lifeless body,
And silently say goodybe,
I let myself drift into the warmth,
And know everything will be fine. |

| I love this poem. It reminds me of a sweet sorrow. I'm not sure if that's what you intended, but whenever I feel like I want to drift away and be someplace where I can feel everything and nothing... that's what this poem reminds me of... |

| i can't believe im saying this, but i wanna cry for you. i am not a crier, and im normally not this much of a freak... but i can't expain it- i feel such sympathy for you and i feel like such a dumb ass for even complaining about my life...
my life is perfect compared to yours. |
