» Poem: Emerald Fortunes
Emerald Fortunes
written by twistedmind33
10:49 PM 3/4/05
Written on her hand
In emerald ink
The date and time
Of their next meet

She couldn’t help but smile
When she thought of him
Time seemed to never end
Life wasn’t so grim

But then that day came
The one her hand fore told
He left her feeling all alone
And nothing inside, but cold

And now that girl’s hand
Reads something new
One that’s simply six words long
I’m still in love with you
