My light

Why have I continued living in this dark world?
For so long I have searched, searched for someone to give me hope.
Someone to hold me tight on cold nights.
I searched for so long, almost giving into the pain.
Could it be that there is no escape from this darkness that plagues me?
Yet one day I found you, a person who I can trust.
One who will love me for who I am.
A virtuous youth, honerable, noble and pure,
A warrior of compassion, a fighter for peace.
You stand for all that is right.
I have been searching for so long, and I have finally found my desire.
You have become my all. my essence my light... and my forever love... |
