Lay in Your Bed All Day (please comment)

How many times do you play that record?
Probably the same amount of times
you've played me.

It's becoming familiar.
Those conversations,
back and forth,
round and round,
getting nowhere.

No sharp words from your tongue now.
Only those kisses
designed to lead me back into your arms.

Maybe I've been deceived.
The other girl isn't here tonight.
She can't see how wonderful you are
right now.
She's being swallowed by your mind.

I'm proud.
Although I'm not sure
why.

You are so easy.
I've laid in your bed for hours
wondering when we'd both admit
that we hate each other.
I've concluded, probably never.
