this odd love competition

i think of what we could have been
but i know i wont win
this odd love competition
i feel im fighting everyone
to find my special someone
and i think of what i could have done
in this odd love competition
so now i cry all by myself
dreaming i'm with someone else
who wont just put me on the shelf
in this odd love competition
so now i look at the opposing team
to see their difference from me
and all i see is beauty
in this odd love competition
i wish i could be more beautiful
than people would treat me like i'm wonderful
and all my problems would become joyful
in this odd love competition
so i hope if your out there
you'll find me sitting here
all alone on my cushioned chair
waiting for the end of this odd love competition |
