Alone

I guess you can't see it.
But i didn't think i hid it all that well.
I guess, my disguise you can't see through it.
You didn't realize the pain I obtain from the depths of my soul.
My mask hid everything, my friendly disguise.
Underneath the surface lies everything.
The pain that keeps me alive,
The only way that makes me feel at all.
The scars of my past that i refuse to let fade.
You must not see it, you thought i'd be ok.
You leave me here alone.
But alone here my mind starts to wander,
Back to the past, to the pain, to the hurt.
Back to the inquiring questions with no hopeful answers.
I'll be ok though, you don't know me really,
Just my perky disguise.
Scars are now forming, Blood now pours,
The shiney metal of the blade soon covered in my soul running from my body in a deep crimson liquid.
I slowly slip away, but not so alone, not that i notice, not that i care.
You thought i'd be ok,
Then my loneliness ended and you returned,
You then recieved your chance to be alone.
I finally was ok, I was finally happy.
I left you alone you.
You knew i'd be ok, but this isn't what you meant.
I wasn't supposed to leave you alone too. |

I don't like it, you might, but it doesn't really rhyme so its just not my type.. it's about a friend..it just flowed out of my pen and into my journal one night like a poem so thats the whole history..please comment and look at my other poems
