Home to Hell (Plz Comment)

Walking home to hell
Let your “love” lead the way
Paint a smile on my face,
“Yeah, Everything’s okay.”

You didn’t see it, did you?
Maybe you never looked,
but my heart was breaking
with every step I took.

Though you’ll never see it
you’ll probably never try
behind these eyes are tears
from the times I never cried.

From all the times we yelled
and all the times we fought
wish that I could hurt you
but compassion is all I’m taught.

Walking home to hell
Let your “love” lead the way
Paint a smile on my face
I wish I was okay.

Bruised, cut, and bleeding,
yet still no tears will come,
and because I love you
I’ll stay until you’re done.

Out in the open
I wear a smile that never fades
As soon as I get home,
I quickly close the shades.

Because I know you’ll be there
Ready to show your “love”
I wish that you would stop it,
But your hearts already numb.

Walking home to hell
Let your “love” lead the way
Knowing that I should leave you
But my love makes me stay.

No one will ever know,
Hell, you can’t even see
All the scars I’m forced to wear
All the pain within me.

Wishing I could walk away
my love for you forces me to stay
here to endear the pain
for the rest of my days.

Walking home to hell
Let your “love” lead the way
Paint a smile on my face
“Yeah, everything’s okay.”
