» Poem: a vessel
a vessel
written by devilchild01

The sins within me spur a motive
enough to alight a fire
stoked by deadly dreams
My desire is not light-hearted
I will tolerate no such standard
Tonight like the night once told
All warriors coordinated in a silent play
and moulded together like clay
to form the one I call myself.
I’m drugged with emotions
that explode inside my head, my heart
they make a show of colours
That shower around my very being.
these emotions are used as fuel
to feed the fire burning inside
Moulded into a deadly warrior
Now I am ready to fight.
I dart faster than any speed calculated
Fuel burning explosively inside
time giving me no chance to
Catch my heaving breath.
Tonight is the night that I take you
to meet with all the colours of emotion
I used to think life was dull until i sat and felt
what my body always wanted to tell
