Forgive Me: I Have Lied

a friend to forever keep,
I dream of a day that you will come.
Every night I lay awake,
from every silent cry I make,
I can never forgive myself.
After all the times I've tried,
after all the heartless times I've lied,
I still remember what you said to me.
Now that i lay cold,
from all the fears I've never told,
I pray that you will forgive me. |
