I'll Be Fine
written by intheblinkofaneye11:57 PM 3/6/05NANCI: Look outside right now and tell me you don't see it. Tell me you don't see all the beauty roaming right in front of your face. Can't you see it? I know I can. If you admit that you can't, then what the hell did you see in me? In your words I was as mesmirizing as the sunset and as breath-taking as the breeze on a warm, summer evening. A patch of roses, I was to you. Look out there. If you never thought any of that was so beautiful, how can I ever mean that way to you? I don't understand... You can say all you want to... to try and change the way this is all making me feel right now, but- I'm sorry- there's no way you can do that. You've already done enough harm already. And you ask if you can do anything to fix it. If you really want to help here, I think you should just leave for a while... It could make it so much better. And don't worry about me, will you? I'll be fine. |

This isn't the first monologue I've written. I've written a lot more than this, but please enjoy the few I have submitted to this site. This monologue is a girl Nanci telling her fiance' of the time how he makes her feel. I hope you like it.
