Empty
written by xfadingmemoriesx04:58 AM 3/7/05I trusted you and you let me down,
now you won't get out of my head.
When I finally believed you were the one,
you made me see the truth instead.
I'll never be worth a second glance,
I'll never be able to feel again.
Empty inside, dreams vanished now,
I'm playing a game I'll never win.
I told you going into this,
what you've done was my worst fear.
You told me I should believe in you,
and that I wouldn't shed a tear.
But now I've nearly cried a river,
and this matters not to you.
So loving you seemed all along,
but just like that we're through. |
