» Poem: --The Finish Line--
--The Finish Line--
written by DaMaGeD
03:49 PM 3/7/05
My heart screams
On this quiet night,
For my soul to save it
From this knife,
My soul is too cold
To hear it shout,
And from this gash
My pain bleeds out,
Tears turn to ice
As they fall on my face,
All this blood
Is such a waste,
My skin cries, too
It's tears so red,
Still trying to heal
The soul that's dead,
The clock keeps ticking,
And i'm still at square one,
I can hardly remember
When this game was fun,
The years i have played
And lost every single time,
Now this knife is my shortcut
To the finish line.
