» Poem: Your Eyes
Your Eyes
written by xfadingmemoriesx

A great ocean bearing millions of creatures,
One of your most admirable features.
Piercing into me, yet there is no sting.
Seeing you seeing me, I forget everything.
And, looking beyond them, there is a mind.
Seeking past that, who knows what I could find…
A heart, pulsating from within,
So much to tell, I don’t know where to begin.
And lips, curving into a smile,
Maybe I’ll stay a little while.
Then, looking up, back into the place you can’t disguise,
I feel myself drifting even farther into your eyes.
