Grim Goodbye

Drenched in endless tears.
Soaked in dreaded water laden with all my fears.
My heart black and faded.
My soul as black as night.
So with contempt and disdain I hide from the light.
I keep all inside with no one to console.
I drown in my sorrows that weaken my mind.
It's one I desire but unable to find.
I need not one to hold and embrace.
I need not one to wipe the tears from my face.
I need not one to hold me when I'm weak.
I need no one, it's no one that I seek.
With tears softly falling I die deep inside.
There will be no one to help me when I cry.
There will be no one.
It's a grim goodbye. |
