i'd like to forget
written by IceBound06:12 PM 3/10/05none less of a world of hate
my body left to lie in this world
this world they waste
none less of a tear from this face
my soul with bullet holes
my future now blurred, a bitter taste
none less of the lie told true
with who to screw over next
the sky, my eyes, a scarlet hue
what is to love when regret glisten?
hate the pain of would-of's and have-been's
they know they'd kill me well
compell me to let go and bleed my way
steal my way to next base
escape the inevidable fight
the fight to keep the next day alive
eggshells tighten underneath
a little more wieght lifted
or am i just getting stronger then most?
relinquish my role as the dramatic pesimistic
everything to change in me
things to change were never true
crashing down, caving in
this storm out side...
it's fine, i'm fine
i wanted to see something different
wanted to feel the impossible
if only for a moment's worth
i've made it this far
now for that extra step
i'm takin a chance
this could be different
this could be all that i'm waiting for...
would it all be worth living, going through alone?
one can only tell from experience
so i'll live the chase once more
start it all over
remember the world that i'd like to forget |
