I'm Trusting

And I'm left with crushed dreams
I'd throw my head back
And let out a silent scream
That no one would notice
Let alone even hear
They wouldn't even know I'm sad
Because I wouldn't shed one tear
I'd do this every time
Something ruined me
But now I have no need
Because you promised me you'd be
There for me
No matter what
And in return I promise
That I won't ever cut
So here I go I'm letting go
Of all these things that have happened
And I'm trusting you'll keep your word
I'm trusting I won't have to pretend
So with every tear I shed
And every fight I fight
I trust that you'll be there
To hold me close and hold me tight |
