» Poem: commotion
commotion
written by lostinamirror
12:23 AM 3/11/05
I hear the banging.
I ran down stairs.
They are fighting again.
I silently sigh as I sneak away.
I get to the door.
Pause........
The commotion has stopped.
An eary silence.
I walk back in,
I stare at my mother lay on the floor.
He claims it was an accident, a big mistake.
That doesn't change a thing.
My mother's dead.
I fall to the floor,
confussed of what to do.
One bullet to the head, that's all it took.
