» Poem: Shuttering
Shuttering
written by Bloodfilledcinnabuns

Shuttering,
The moon burns my vains,
I can feel the change.

Shuttering,
Cloths are ripped and torn,
Fur ripples down my back.

Shuttering,
The crunch of bones,
My skeleton is realiged.

Shuttering,
I fall to my hands and knees,
Claws emerge from new-found paws.

Shuttering,
My face elongates,
A growl escapes from my muzzle.

Shuttering,
I lift my head in a blood-sweet cry,
Howling for my brotheren.

Shuttering,
Nothing comes,
Only silent darkess.

Shuttering,
I am just a creature of the night,
Alone for all eternity.
