we can sit and the stars
and watch all the people
we once knew
we can dance on the clouds
we'll sing and laugh
we'll cry on each others shoulders
laying with the angels
in a bed of roses
we'll drink from the milky way
i'll paint your portrait in the stars
and dress you with the heavens
the sparkle in your eyes
tames the wildest of beast
(...pause for music...)
forever an' ever
we can sit on the stars
and watch all the people

we can dance on the clouds
we'll waltz through time
our rhythm enticing the planets
bathing in the sun's
sweet nectar
