Love's Goal Achieved
written by nicole_lyndon08:58 AM 3/11/05Separation without sanity
brings grief without an end
Stringent patience and anxiety;
things that refuse to bend.
But distance does not hinder love:
who moves mountains for its cause
Every mile brings with it reasons:
things that you to me it draws
Love equals every mile
multiplied by how I feel
Like an everlasting dream
Every moment more surreal
Could such lengths be stronger binds,
interlinking soul to soul?
Until paths have crossed each other;
love hath not met her goal
One of reuniting those once parted,
through no fault of their own.
Amalgamation of old feelings,
and new ones that have grown. |
