» Poem: Common Disease
Common Disease
written by nicole_lyndon

You tell me that you love me
And that I'm always on your mind
You tell me that I'm pretty
And that I'm generous and I'm kind

You tell me I'm the only one
And that I'm all you'll ever need
But when I see you cheating
My heart begins to bleed

You tell me I'm mistaken
And that it really wasn't you
But I know how your wheels grind
What do you think I'm blind?

You tell me that you're sorry
And that it won't happen anymore
But even in one million years
You'll still be rotten to the core
