» Poem: Childe of the Night
Childe of the Night
written by xXmasqueradeXgirlXx
08:25 PM 7/23/04
Silver lights brighten the black skies
Too bright for my dark eyes
Turning away as I descend
My blue-black world has come to an end
Black tears fall from my darker eyes
I made a world everyone despises
Lacquered eyes blind the words
As burial tombs are up turned
No more to freely roam
Just need to find a home
I can only be with you in a city of night
Otherwise our love won
